Below are examples of my students work, images illustrating their thought processes and videos they created while practicing some of their skills in my Surgical Nursing course. I have also included a video and a link to a playlist of instructional videos that the students are expected to watch and interact with.  In this course, students are introduced to the role of the veterinary technician as a member of the surgical team as well as concepts of wound management, pain management, and a variety of specific preoperative, operative, and postoperative surgical patient management issues. Students are expected to apply and adapt information to various surgical procedures and animal species.
